Hello!

This is a quick welcome post to all people interested in how your body fights diseases and why it may turn rogue (auto-immune disorders) or get confused (allergies of all sorts)!

My name is Amanda Galas-Wilson, and I completed my Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Saskatchewan.

I envision this blog helping people better understand the concepts of Cellular Biology, Immunology, and Microbiology, and understand new and exciting research related to these three topics!

Research topics will span from the highly relatable, to the fairly obscure and basic research because both are very important for stimulating hypotheses and connections. Even the most obscure and seemingly highly un-relatable research topics can lead to revolutionary ideas and processes/products that can improve our quality of life.
