An avid crafter, with an interest in the human body, health, and diseases. I enrolled in Microbiology and Immunology (MCIM) at the University of Saskatchewan. After completing my Bachelor of Science (BSc) in MCIM I didn't have enough of the subject so applied for the MCIM Master of Science (MSc) program at the same university to try my hand at research.

During my MSc, I was tasked with both research and assisting in lab classes as well as marking assignments and exams. As much as I enjoyed my research I was more attracted to helping students understand the fundamentals of the life sciences, microbiology, and immunology. Additionally, I always wanted my students to leave one-on-one interactions with knowledge, inspiration, and awe for science.

That is why, now that my MSc is complete, I privately tutor and try to inspire their curiosity while also relaying that beauty and awe the life sciences convey.
